There’s a pivotal scene in the popular AMC series The Walking Dead that made media frenzy. The whooping number of owned motorcycles just goes to show that more and more people are riding a trusted and reliable vehicle. Owning a motorcycle is also quite helpful for some people. Aside from being much cheaper than buying a car, it is easy to maneuver especially during traffic where the driver can just twist and turn while the car owners are waiting for like hours because unfortunately they are riding bulky rides.

Vehicles are made so that people can travel faster conveniently. Thus, the sole and primal function of a motorcycle is transportation. For some, they like the feeling of being free, being able to feel the air whether it’s cold or humid, and being able to experience whatever the road has to offer. Also, buying a motorcycle implies practicality. For example, if there are thousands of car owners in a business town where you live, it is expected that cars will occupy a lot of space in the parking area, making it extremely hard and competitive for someone to park. But with a motorcycle, you don’t need a wide space for your ride.
REASONS
Like Lady Gaga, motorcycle drivers can give you “a million reasons” as to why they ride what they ride. People love to be in the motorcycle because…it’s easy to use. With a car, you have to do a lot of things while in a motorcycle you will just have to do some footwork for changing of gears and the rest are all upon your hands. In fact, motorcycle driving can give you a “zen” state feels because for even a fraction of time you have the chance to get away from all the worries of the world and just enjoy the ride and the view. It’s also a stress reliever of some sorts. You can just ride anywhere and just let everything slide. Going economical, it’s also important to highlight that fuel cost for motorcycles is much cheaper than for the cars. Motorcycles are also environment-friendly! Emitting less than 30 percent of carbon dioxide than cars, motorcycling is fun without harming the environment.

As mentioned above, people have come a long way instead of just riding a motorcycle for transportation. They have elevated it and made it their own passion…and even a sport. People can ride on their own or they can ride with others like a cool gang. Motorcycling makes you feel ecstatic…it makes you feel free.
